The Delight Technology Incubation Center (DTI Center) is a free, non-formal IT education facility established by Delight Rwanda to promote equal access to technology training for children and young adults in rural areas. The program provides essential IT education and infrastructure by setting up free DTI Labs (computer labs) in remote locations throughout Rwanda.
The DTI Center offers a range of computer courses, including basic, intermediate, and advanced levels, tailored for children and young adults. The training system serves three beneficiary categories: children aged 8 to 12 years, young adults aged 13 to 20 years, and youth aged 21 to 35 years.
The center primarily focuses on IT teaching and training, online business hubs, and digital inclusion. This initiative specifically targets children and young adults from under-resourced communities, providing them with vital information technology (IT) knowledge and practical digital skills.
To accommodate learners’ schedules, the center conducts IT training on weekends and during school holidays, ensuring that students can develop essential digital skills without disrupting their regular school commitments. On weekdays, the center offers IT training for young adults who are not enrolled in formal education. These beneficiaries participate in two-hour training sessions each day, allowing them to maintain their daily activities.
The Online Business Hubs at the DTI Center provide training in digital skills, e-commerce, online freelancing, and innovation, aiming to bridge the gap between rural communities and global markets. These hubs will serve as accessible centers equipped with reliable internet connectivity, digital tools, and business support services, enabling rural youth to engage meaningfully in the digital economy.
The DTI Center is dedicated to promoting digital inclusion in rural areas of Rwanda. We aim to ensure that vulnerable girls, people with disabilities, and those with limited literacy have equal access to digital technologies, essential skills, and opportunities.
Our Vision
A future where every child and youth is digitally empowered, regardless of their location and background.
Our Mission
